Short Term Rental Hearing Scheduled

The Belleair Shore Town Commission has scheduled a meeting for May 7th before a special master. Two property owners could be slapped with $15k in fines for renting out there homes on Gulf Blvd for less than 30 days. They have been been advertising weekly rentals, and according to neighbors one of the homes has been turned into a party house, outfitted with speakers throughout the property and seating for dozens of people. There are also complaints of noise and trash coming from the properties.
